The casual pullover with wide textured strips is worked completely double stranded and seamlessly, top down and starts at the accentuated shoulder line (French shoulders) at the back. The two front parts are worked in the opposite direction, from the shoulder line downwards, and are later joined together at center front at neck opening. Subsequently, front and back are each worked flat up to the underarms, where both parts are joined together and work is continued in the round to bottom border. The sleeves are worked top down in the round by picking up stitches around the armhole edges.

• Milano 175 (175/200/225/275) g in Marble 57M and Premia 100 (125/125/150/175) g in Silk Grey 03, 1 stitch marker, 1 tapestry needle

GAUGE (all patterns are worked double stranded with 1 strand Milano and 1 strand Premia):

•20 sts and 36 rows in pattern 1 using ndl size 4.0 mm (US 6) = 10 x 10 cm / 4” square,

•20 sts and 44 rows/rnds in pattern 2 using ndl size 3.5 mm (US 4) = 10 x 10 cm / 4” square and

•20 sts and 50 rnds in pattern 3 using ndl size 3.25 mm (US 3) = 10 x 10 cm / 4” square.
For a good fit of the pullover, it is important to keep the correct gauges for all 3 different patterns. Adjust ndl size if necessary, to obtain the correct gauge per pattern (this applies in particular to the stitch gauge, the row gauge is less important), so that the different patterns fit well together.

Der legere Pullover mit breiten Strukturmusterstreifen wird durchgehend doppelfädig mit je einem Faden Milano und einem Faden Premia nahtlos von oben nach unten gearbeitet und an der im oberen Rückenbereich liegenden betonten Schulterlinie (französische Schulter) begonnen. Die beiden Vorderteilseiten werden in umgekehrter Richtung aus dieser Schulterlinie herausgestrickt, später am Halsausschnitt verbunden und das Vorderteil wird wie das Rückenteil bis zum Ende der Armausschnitte in Hin- und Rückreihen gearbeitet, anschließend wird bis zum unteren Rand in Runden gestrickt. Die Ärmel werden direkt angestrickt und von oben nach unten ebenfalls in Runden gearbeitet.

 Für eine gute Passform des Pullovers ist es wichtig, dass alle 3 Maschenproben gestrickt und die Nadelstärken so angepasst werden, dass die angegebenen Maschen- und Reihen-/Rundenzahlen erreicht werden (dies gilt insbesondere für die Maschenzahl in der Breite!), damit die unterschiedlichen Muster gut miteinander harmonieren.
