Meet Nova the Narwhal – the most mystical and magical creature you ever did see. Wrapped in her starry cape and hat, she drifts gently through the waves, collecting trinkets and ingredients for her spells by day, and charting constellations by night as the sea swirls around her.

What’s Included -
This listing includes a 21-page PDF crochet pattern so you can make your very own crochet narwhal. The pattern is written in US crochet terms and includes step-by-step instructions with clear, helpful photos throughout.
Finished Size -
When made with the same yarn weight and hook size, your narwhal will measure approximately 8 inches (20.3 cm). Size may vary depending on yarn weight and hook size.
Note – Gauge is not important for this pattern.
Difficulty -
This crochet narwhal pattern is suitable for advanced beginners with experience in amigurumi.
This pattern has been tested by experienced crocheters.
Materials Needed -
Yarn – 4ply Cotton Yarn (I have used Yarn and Colors Must-Have) in the following colours and approximate quantities:
Soft Grey (Body) – 40g
Navy Blue (Cape and Hat) – 20g
Gold (Cape and Hat) – 10g
White (Horn) – 10g
(The speckled narwhal pictured was made using Sirdar Amalfi – Salemo with a 2.5mm hook. Please note this yarn has been discontinued.)
Note – Yarn quantities are approximate; you may need more or less depending on your tension, hook size and yarn type.
What you’ll need -
2.25mm crochet hook
Toy stuffing
8mm safety eyes
Black embroidery thread or fine yarn
Gold embroidery thread or fine yarn
Tapestry needle
Pins for sewing
Stitch markers
Scissors
