Ticker knits booklet # 3 has SIX patterns. Ticker Knits involves knitting the same word around and then the words are ‘stacked’ in the design. This pillow set depicts the ‘Now I Lay me down to sleep’ prayer. Although it might look intricate, it is actually quite easy to work - one just needs to follow & knit the graphs in-the-round. The pillows are worked as tubes and then joined on one end. The graphed words are knitted repeatedly around. At the end of the round you just stop even thought he word may not be completed and begin the next round anew. The seam don’t match because language is not symmetric, but the eye goes to discerning the words’ meaning and therefore little if any attention is paid to the seam.

Cascade 220 Superwash Sport is perfect for this project. The colors are distinct & make for great color/word definition and the yarn is very soft.
