Pattern is worked from the hat down. MOSTLY single crochet! I used Bernat Blanket, but this pattern is designed for any size yarn with appropriate sized hook. Bernat Blanket made a 22’ nutcracker, crochet cotton makes it an ornament! SO many possibilities!
Less than one skein of yarn of each color is needed! A great way to use up bits and pieces!
