With raglan increases and short sleeves, this is a true wardrobe staple. Wear on its own or with a simple button-up shirt.

Recommended ease: 2–4” (5–10 cm) of positive ease.

Arm circumference:

Length from underarm to hem:

MATERIALS
Yarn: 5 (5, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10) skeins of Shelter by Brooklyn Tweed (100% wool, 140 yds / 128 m – 50 g).
Samples were knit in colourways Hayloft and Fossil.
Yardage: 700 (700, 840, 980, 980, 1120, 1120, 1260, 1260, 1400) yds / 640 (640, 768, 896, 896, 1024, 1024, 1152, 1152, 1280) m total of worsted weight yarn.
Needles: US 6 (4 mm) circular needles for ribbing and US 8 (5 mm) circular needles for stockinette stitch.
Notions: Stitch markers, waste yarn, tapestry needle.
GAUGE
19 sts to 23 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
Note: The white version photographed in issue 1 has raglan increases that are different to the other samples and the pattern. If you’d like to make your sweater like that work the raglan increases as “m1r, k1, sm, k1, m1l”.
