Nymphaea
Pattern is now available in Laurinda’s Pattern Store here on Ravelry.
Nymphaea means water lily. Cascading zigzags that sparkle with beads evoke wind on the water interspersed with bands of floral shells as the pattern gradually increases to an edging of leaves. The beads throughout add drape to the soft cashmere/merino/nylon yarn, making it a dream to crochet and to wear. Designed as a collaborative project using 5 shades of gradient beads from Bead Biz and 7 mini skeins of gradient colors dyed to match by June Pryce Fiber Arts.
Approx. 700 yards fingering weight yarn. Sample shown in June Pryce Fiber Arts. Saunderstown Sock (80% superwash merino/10% cashmere/10% nylong). Seven 100 yard mini-skeins in Goldilocks.
