Oakhaven Mitts
Oakhaven Mitts add a little bit of elegance to your accessory drawer thanks to a flourish of lace at the back of the hand. Twisted rib accents throughout add to the polish. These mitts are perfect for the change of seasons and knit up quickly with less than half a skein of fingering weight yarn - a great chance to use up a partial skein leftover from a fingering weight sweater. Choose a solid or semi-solid yarn to show off your stitches.
This pattern assumes knowledge of working in the round, basic lace, working twisted stitches, increases, and decreases. Both charts and written directions are provided for all stitch patterns. A video tutorial link is included for the twisted decreases used at the thumb, though you can sub for standard decreases if you prefer.
