This garment is to be worn with 0cm / 0” – 7.5cm / 3” positive ease, depending on which style you fancy. Both yarns have different characteristics, so the Devonia Version has more drape and the Exmoor Sock Version has a more fitted look. We love them both!

Pattern Notes
Oare Water is knit from the bottom up in the round, either in cropped or high hip length. It is then divided to work the back and front separately from the arm upwards. The drape-neck front is knit using a simple lace pattern in short-row wedges. After the body is complete, the work is blocked and seamed with pleats on one shoulder, before stitches are picked up for the sleeves. Either short or ¾ length sleeves are worked in the round, with short rows to shape the sleeve cap.
