Oat + Honey Blanket
Design
This highly textured blanket is worked back & forth from the bottom-up. Featuring intertwining cables with a hint of simple lace tucked inside. The cable pattern repeat is 28 rows and 14 stitches. The pattern is written in ONE SIZE (45” x 55”) but it can easily be adapted to be smaller or larger. The pattern is charted and also includes separate written instructions.
Yarn
Note: Yardage does not include a gauge swatch
Approx. 1500 yards/1,372 m of Bulky/Chunky weight yarn. Sample is shown in Knit Picks Swish Bulky in “Nutmeg”. I used less than 14 skeins.
Needles
US #10.5/6.5 mm circular needles, 40”/101 cm for working back and forth
Notions
- (14) Stitch markers, to separate chart sections. I highly recommend this as it makes following the repeat much easier.
