Obfuscation
Obfuscation: noun, the act of throwing something into shadow or darkening it
The idea behind this cowl started with a perfectly matched set of mini skeins that called my name from across the room. I bought the set without pausing to think but also realizing that I would need to come up with a plan for them. It didn’t take long: That night, I had trouble getting so sleep because I started knitting this cowl in my head!
This cowl combines brioche stitch (in both one color and two colors) with those mini skeins for a squishy, warm accessory that is completely reversible. Although instructions are given for a set of minis with these particular specifications, it is easy to adjust the pattern to use a different number of minis or even leftover scraps.
To knit this project, you need to know how to:
- knit and purl,
- work in the round, and
- work basic brioche stitch using one color and two colors.
Instructions are included in the pattern for changing the finished dimensions.
