Size: about 10” wide by 80” long, and easily adjustable
Materials: one ball of Schoppel Wolle Leinen Los (70% wool, 30% linen, 328 yards per 100gm ball), or about 310 yards of a DK to worsted weight yarn
or, assorted colors of DK to worsted weight yarn, totaling 310 yards, plus a bit extra for all the ends that will be woven in.

US size 10.5 needles, or size needed to get the correct gauge
Gauge: 10 sts and 20 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch, after blocking. Be sure to wash and block your swatch before measuring.

Pattern notes: If you wish to substitute yarn, just be sure that you are getting a sufficiently loose and airy fabric at the given gauge, so that the scarf drapes nicely and the fabric doesn’t curl.

This wrap may easily be made into a looped cowl. You can cast on using your favorite provisional method, and graft the ends together instead of binding off.

The striped scarf in red, gold and browns was made with various leftovers of Cascade 220.
The spumoni-colored self-striping scarf is one ball of Noro Kureopatora.
