A fun collection for fall, Abstraction features four designs inspired by abstract art, using the visual language of shape, form, color and line to create a composition which may be independent from visual references in the world (wiki).

Obscure

Obscure is an asymmetrical shawl worked from the lower tip, first in a mitered square then each side is worked separately. Lastly, a solid border is picked up along the left selvage edge and lower edge. Instructions are written only, and overall stitch counts are not critical for this pattern. (yay!) The design is suitable for sport or light dk weight yarns that will produce a similar gauge; just be sure to adjust your yarn requirements accordingly when making substitutions.

Color A: 2 skeins Sabine (organic heathers - 84g used)
Color B: 1 skein Aleutian (3g used)
Color C: 1 skein Bird’s Egg (6g used)
Color D: 1 skein Leek (9g used)
Color E: 1 skein Bosc (14g used)
Color F: 1 skein Carrie’s Yellow (43g used)
