Theme

Beginning January 1st, this knitalong will lead you through eight secret clues – one per week – which follow the celestial events that unfold throughout the seasons.

Over 8 weeks of knitting, we’ll bring to life a wrap/shawl that leads us through winter, spring, summer and fall, through solstices and equinoxes, light and dark.

Yarn

All yarns are welcomed and loved, from new hand-dyed kits to widely available yarns at all price points.

You’ll need four skeins (400+ yards/366+ m each) of fingering weight yarn in four colors that loosely represent the seasons. More information about color choice is in the materials and also on the welcome thread linked next.
