Worked from the center out you can make this poncho larger or smaller, just remember to work the same number of rows for each side so it’s even when you seam it up.

A little teaser from the book…..
This poncho was born out of the popularity of shawls. My knitting group was talking about how tough it is to wear a shawl in a new and innovative way. Sure, a rectangle can become a shrug or cocoon, but collectively we were stumped by what could be done with a triangle. So, with that in mind, I set out to make a piece of wearable fiber art as simple to make as a shawl while also being easy to just pop on after a workout or over a sundress for entertaining friends for morning coffee. The result: a poncho fashioned out of my most popular shawl pattern with a few little lacy bits to keep it interesting.
