Ocean Beret
by Rachel Erin
This faux-isle beret and mitten set was designed to use small amounts of special yarn, such as handspun, to full effect. A large range of water and flame effects can be produced by altering the colors.
This beret is available in 3 sizes with two style options: structured tam and slouch. It is knit from the top down and finished with an i-cord bind off. The colorwork motif is charted.
You can use either light sport or heavy fingering, depending on how dense you want the fabric to be - the denser the fabric the better it blocks the wind.
