Ochoco is a quick and easy cowl with simple lace and texture on a stockinette stitch base and can be made in any yarn weight from fingering to worsted!

The main body of the asymmetrical cowl is worked sideways from end to end, with increases only on the neck edge. Stitches are then picked up along the bottom edge for the fun textured section and the side edge is finished last. The cowl is seamed at the back neck for easy blocking and adjustment for the fit you desire.

Ochoco is a great way to use up stash and leftover yarn; be sure to check out the Ochoco Tee.

The pattern is written for sport weight yarn but the instructions are written to work to a distance so the cowl can be made in any yarn weight from fingering to worsted (or even bulky).

Size and yarn usage will vary with differences in gauge and yarn choices.

Instructions are both charted and written and a video tutorial is provided for the textured stitch pattern. No cable needles or dropped stitches are required!

This pattern has been professionally tech-edited and tested.
