Octagon Liaison is a very versatile pattern and can be used for anything from baby blankets to blankets for king size beds. It would make lovely cushion covers and a variety of other items. I have provided formulas for calculating yarn requirements in this document.

I used colour blocking for this sample, but the design lends itself to all kinds of different layouts. I look forward to seeing your individual interpretation of this pattern.

I made this as a piece of “sofa-art” and used it to liven up my patio area. I’m very happy with the outcome.
