Finished bust circumference: 91.5 (96.5, 106.5, 117, 127) cm / 36 (38, 42, 46, 50)” – to be worn with 10 cm / 4” positive ease
Model has 86 cm / 34” bust, stands 175cm / 5’9” tall, and is wearing size 2.
Yarn: Plucky Knitter (Primo Sport; 75% merino, 20% cashmere, 5% nylon; 251 m / 275 yds per 100 g skein)
Shade: The Village; 5 (5, 6, 7, 8) skeins
Gauge: 24 sts & 33 rows = 10 cm / 4” over stocking stitch on 3.75 mm needles before blocking.
Chart B width = 8.5 cm / 3¼”
Needles: 3.5 mm / US 4 knitting needles
3.5 mm / US 4 circular needle, 40 cm (16”) length for neckband.
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Notions: 4 stitch markers, cable needle, stitch holders or scrap yarn
Notes: Odonata is knit bottom up in separate pieces for the front, back and sleeves. The body is a rectangle and shaped at the shoulder with short rows for a dropped shoulder fit, before joining them with a 3-needle cast off. The sleeves and body are seamed together at the end and stitches picked up around the neckline to finish.
