Off The Chain clutch & cuffs
Finished size when sewn up is 22cm wide, 17cm deep.
You will need 2 balls of DMC Natura XL or similar chunky cotton. Sample was made in shade Lime (82).
You will also need:
1 metre of 10mm chunky faceted chain
2 pairs of jewellery pliers
Cotton fabric and stiff fusible interfacing for bag lining (optional)
Magnetic popper (optional)
Matching sewing needle and thread (optional)
Tension is given using a 6mm hook. The 3.5mm hook is needed for working the first row with the metal chain, so you won’t need it if omitting this section.
I recommend lining this bag but the nature of the fabric means that it’ll be fairly firm even without a lining.
I will be releasing this pattern, along with a separate pattern for the matching cuffs on Ravelry in May 2016 so please check back for updates.
