Offset Cables Ombre Scarf
Inspired by the Irish Hiking Scarf, I needed to use up my single skein of Tosca yarn and loved the idea of making a cabled scarf. The two cables - although it’s a basic cable throughout - are slightly offset to each other, giving the scarf a bit extra character.
I love variegated yarns and cables, although I find it a bit hard to appreciate both together. Ombre yarns (many shades of the same colour) I think look fantastic with cables, on the other hand.
This is a great single-skein pattern, if you’ve got just that one ball lying around. If not, go find an ombre yarn to whip this up, even if you divert from the Tosca!:)
