Ogallala Twister Bandana Cowl
I loved going to the rodeo growing up. There was an undeniable energy in the air, the rugged cowboys, the gorgeous rodeo queens, and the distinctive smell of cattle and horses.
When I was ten, the tornado sirens went off in the middle of the Ogallala Rodeo in Western Nebraska. A twister was coming. Everyone burst into action, getting all the kids and the horses to safety. The tornado never touched down, but that experience just added to the mystique and the excitement of the rodeo. All the heroes that night wore bandanas!
This little bandana cowl is the sidekick to the La Bandanita Bandana Cowl - both bandanas can be knit using just two skeins of contrasting fingering weight yarn!
