Oh So Easy Scarf is a fun knit with an easy-to-memorize pattern. Great for social knitting!

It is worked in two colors of just about any worsted-weight (or other) yarn -- one solid and one variegated. I used Cascade 220 for the solid and Classic Elite Liberty Wool for the variegated with its long color runs. Try a shorter run to create a totally different look!

If you’re new to color work, this is a great introduction. Looks complicated but…it’s easy. No carrying colors! Work one color at a time.

The textured pattern stitch is garter-stitch based (i.e., no purls!). The only techniques needed are knit and slip. The stitch is attractive on both sides of the fabric.

Oh So Easy Scarf is suitable for beginning knitters or just about anyone. The width can be easily adjusted for a narrower scarf or even for a wider shawl. Or make it shorter for a cowl. The pattern includes a “Design Your Own” tutorial for adjusting the yarn and gauge. A great stash buster!
