This is the fingering weight version of the original Oi Ihana Toukokuu sock pattern, which was written for sport weight yarns.

Features of the updated pattern:

• knitted cuff-down

• instructions written in generic style (no needle numbering employed)

• instructions written in metric and US terminology

• four sizes: extra-small (54 sts), small (60 sts), medium (66 sts) and large (72 sts)

• French heel and gusset decreases in the sole (unlike in the original pattern in which the decreases were on each side)

• charts but no written instructions for the lace pattern
