These socks are named after Old Rag Mountain, a peak in the Blue Ridge Mountains and part of the Shenandoah National Park. It is famous for it’s rocky top (hence the name, which was originally “Old Ragged”) and beautiful views. This sock is knitted in two versions: one with the pattern only on the leg, and one with the pattern continuing down the top of the foot.
