I originally found these potholders online made by
“Alipyper”. In her posting about this pattern, she described
it as something she’d come up with by reverse engineering
a potholder from her grandmother. When the pattern went
missing on the internet, I got out the originals I’d made
from Alipyper’s pattern and again reverse engineered the
pattern. Here is the result. I love saving lovely old time
needlework recipes. Hope this one continues to last for
generations!
