“Olivenhain” means “Olive grove” in German. Simple and attractive cable and lace botanical patterning is used for elegant embellishment of the Valley Yarns Olivenhain Fingerless Mitts, which are knit using soft Huntington.
Measurements: To fit palm circumference 6.5–7” (7–8”) 15.25” long. Measurements are taken after blocking.
Yarn: 2 skeins Valley Yarns Huntington (75% Superwash Merino wool, 25% Nylon, 218 yds/50g) color Sunset (about 280 yds used)
Needles: Size US 1 (2.25 mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge
Gauge: 32 sts and 38 rounds = 4” in Stockinette st after blocking. 30 st Cable Chart panel = 3’’ wide after blocking
