This brightly coloured fox is sure to cheer up your sofa. The front of the cushion is a foxy face, and the back is in bright knitted stripes. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the fox is knitted flat on single pointed needles (not in the round). The pattern incorporates intarsia colour-work, and both a chart and written instructions for the colour work are included in the pattern.

NEEDLES
A pair of 4.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 7)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran; aran/worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/184m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, buttons for eyes and felt fabric for the nose.

SIZES
One size only - 30cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
