Olive's Jumpsuit
Olive’s Jumpsuit is a roomy all-in-one suit with narrow stripes. It is worked from the bottom up, both flat and in the round, using 1 strand of Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk.
You start working each leg separately back and forth up to the crotch. Here, work is joined on one needle before the body is continued in the round. At the underarms, work is divided into front and back and each piece finished separately back and forth. The shoulder seams are grafted before stitches are picked up around the armhole, and the sleeves are worked in the round from the top down. The neckline, legs and sleeves are finished with ribbed edges. The suit is closed with buttons down the inside of both legs as well as with one button at the back-neck split.
