OM...
A simple mindless knit for the intermediate sock knitter and a great starter pattern for the first time sock knitter, “Om…” is a canvas to showcase the amazing colour, depth and beauty of artisanal yarns like those dyed by hand at Mythic Yarn.
With no intricate stitch patterns or textures to compete with the distinctiveness of the yarn, the knitter is freed up to enjoy the knitting process and the colour evolution of the yarn on a meditative level.

PATTERN NOTES
Om is knit cuff down on DPNs, but is easily converted to knit on two circular needles, with magic loop or on 9 inch circular needles
Pattern instructions are indicated for the smallest size, with larger sizes appearing in parentheses
If there are no parentheses, the instruction applies to all sizes
Row gauge is not provided for this pattern as it is not crucial since instructions are given to work specific measurements in lieu of rows or rounds
Needle 1 will be the instep of the sock and needles 2 and 3 will be the heel and sole of the sock
When picking up stitches for the gussets, pick up and knit the number of stitches necessary for you to ensure no gaps in your gussets
You may need to pick up more or fewer than 16 stitches per side – no worries, you can add extra decrease rows or knit fewer decrease rows to compensate and your socks will look fabulous
