Ombré Eyelet Stole
Working a combination of simple slipped stitches and yarnover results in a textured fabric with interest on both sides. Two gradient yarns are worked in opposite directions—one from dark to light, the second from light to dark—creating a striking ombré effect with the darkest shades at the two bottom edges. The simple rectangular shape showcases the hypnotic color pattern.

NOTES
• The stole is worked in one piece from end to end.
• All four sides are worked with yarn over edgings for easy blocking—the blocking wires can be threaded through the yarnovers.
• Stitches are always slipped with yarn at the wrong side of work.
• Colors change every two rows; loosely carry the unused yarn along the right edge.
