Cowls are a perfect “stay where you put them” accessory! As a lover of all things colorful, I decided to play with the same color family in various shades to create the ombre look of this cowl. The string effect makes it lightweight and airy while still keeping you cozy in style.

This simple, yet detailed 3 page pattern also includes pictures to get you through any tricky spots. It also includes the 5 yarns I used, but you can work it up in any five colors you choose--even making it suitable for a man. It would be beautiful in a range of neutrals--black, charcoal, gray, cream and white.

The pattern is written in American English crochet terms.
Only small amounts of each of the 5 colors is required to complete it.
