Ombre Tee
Color possesses a language without words. A purple larkspur, the colorway of yarn I worked with, is the symbol of first loves. I designed this basic simple tee with my first love, the half double crochet stitch making it a relaxing and beginner friendly pattern. Gradually going from light to dark, ombré tee is a meditative project with stunning outcome.
Notes:
Pattern is written as follows, 1(2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). All stitch counts, rounds and rows will be in the corresponding color.
Top is designed to be worn with 4-6 inches of positive ease and slightly cropped. Do not reduce the ease as the pattern is designed with a thicker yarn, it needs the extra ease.
This top is constructed top down in continuous rounds. Use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of each round/row.
Suggested to use a blown yarn for a lightweight top.
Pattern is written in standard US terms. Pattern measures in inches.
