Depression —
Shows no physical signs, no outward appearance.
Oftentimes well masked.
Hidden behind a facade of smiles and laughter.
The cries of despair only heard in one’s own mind.
The bleakness, blankness clouding every thought and emotion.
Spiralling downward into the black abyss of despair.
It hovers on silent wings.
