Currently only available with our “Carnival of Color” yarn club -- through the end of March. Standalone pattern to be released in Fall 2026.

This fringe-trimmed, reversible shawl pairs two complementary colors with tiny tassels accenting the edge for a look that
feels both timeless and a little mysterious. Inspired by turn-of-the-century carnival fortune tellers—part elegance, part
spectacle—the simple stripes let the fringe do the storytelling, adding quiet drama at the edges. The elongated triangular
shape makes the shawl especially versatile, allowing it to wrap easily and sit comfortably on the shoulders.

Yarn: Wonderland Yarns “Mary Ann” sock/fingering weight, 85% superwash merino, 15% nylon: 4 oz skein, 475 yards: 2
skeins: 1 MC & 1 AC
Shown in Limited Edition colors, speckled skein: “Specktacle” (MC) and variegated skein “Whispered Fate” (AC)

Needles & Notions: US size 6/4.0 mm needles, or size required to get gauge, two stitch markers, darning needle — we recommend a bent tip needle as it makes adding tassels much easier, spare knitting needles (1 US size 8/5mm dpn & 1 US size 13/9mm dpn) for wrapping tassels, small scissors, locking stitch markers (optional for tassel placement)

Gauge: 18 sts & 34 rows = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch, blocked (Please note: working at the correct gauge will help ensure you
have sufficient yarn to complete the pattern as written. This pattern is designed to use all of MC.)

*Measurements: 65”/165 cm wingspan, 18”/46 cm deep at center point
