The simplicity of this crocheted afghan pattern makes it a perfect project for those of you who are constantly on the move!
Single and Double crochets combine to make each of the 108 individually crocheted squares, worked in 4 contrasting colors. Rounds 1 and 2 of each square are worked in a contrasting color with the remaining rounds worked in the main color.
The afghan is made with DuPont’s Malina Sayelle yarn, available in 4 ounce skeins. To begin this simple project, you will need 8 skeins main color (MC) and 1 skein each of 4 contrasting colors (A, B, C and D).
Size J crochet hook (or size required to obtain given gauge)
Tapestry needle for sewing squares together.
Finished afghan measures approx 48 x 60 inches.
Gauge: Each square measures approx 5 inches.
