With one skein of yarn you can make an adult sized hat(with options for small, medium or large) and a scarf that is approximately 62” long and 6 1/4” wide. The pattern also includes bonus directions for a long one skein scarf (with no hat) that measures approximately72” long and 6 1/4” wide.

The hook sizes are as follows:
N hook (10mm)scarf, size large hat,
M hook (9mm)size medium hat,
L hook (8 mm)size small hat

The pattern was created using 1 skein Lion Brand Homespun, but you could essentially use 185 yds (169m) of any #5 Bulky Yarn.
