One Skein Self Striping Cowl
Rows of graduated stitches create interesting color variations in self-striping yarn. I specifically designed this pattern to use up a skein of Amazing yarn.
The patterns I found on Lion Brand’s site all required numerous skeins of Amazing, but my pattern only uses one. Substitute other self-striping yarns or try the pattern with one light colored solid for a different effect. I’ve also made this pattern with two skeins of Amazing for a longer cowl.
Unlike other Lion Brand cowl patterns, my pattern does not use multiple yarns to create a striping effect. Because it doesn’t have a rigid, pre-planned striping pattern, it will come out as a unique project for each person who makes it. I hope you enjoy the project and thanks for checking it out! <3
