One Skein Shawl
by Abbeymade
Finally, here is a use for that one skein impulse buy that has been in your stash for far too long or that scrumptious hand spun yarn you just had to spin!
This pattern is one of my beginner patterns. Sure it’s not as basic as a long rectangle but that’s boring. Let’s have bit of fun instead! This pattern is made from honeycomb stitch - a combination of Tunisian simple stitch and Tunisian purl stitch.
This pattern is easily adaptable to any yarn weight but is perfect to use up one whole 100g skein of 4ply (fingering weight) yarn.
Supplies
6.5mm Tunisian crochet hook
Kitchen scales
Yarn
Misti Alpaca hand painted sock yarn, Australian 4 ply, fingering weight, 400m/437y/100g. 1 skein.
