Open-Shell Afghan
Shell-stitch afghan in shades of yellow and brown that deepen in tone from the center out is crocheted in one large rectangle. Make it of knitting worsted or orlon yarn of same thickness, in five colors or as many as you like.
Size: 42” x 60”
Materials: Knitting worsted or Nantuk 4-Ply knitting yarn, 1 4-oz. skein each of light yellow (A), dark yellow (B), and orange (C): 2 skeins each of light brown (D) and dark brown (E). Crochet hook size J or 9.
Gauge: 2 shells = 3”; 5 rnds = 4”
