The Open Weave Wrap pattern introduces a new woven knitting technique. The background is eliminated so you are only working with warp and weft threads.

The pattern has detailed how-to visuals and leaves itself open to use yarns from your stash or purchase yarns using your color choices.

The knitting is not difficult, it requires only knit and purl stitches. You will be required to work both stranded and intarsia knitting. I suggest using bobbins to hold your warp yarns.

West Wool Tandem version requires ±660 yards/605m, the Corrie Worsted version requires ±560 yards/515m

This techniques opens up a whole new world to explore in knitting. While working it, try and think of variations that you could try such as smaller warp threads or larger wefts. There is so much experimentation to be done with this technique.
