#0008 Opal Twist, 5 (7, 8) balls
Crochet hooks, one each size US G-6, H-8, I-9, and J-10 (4, 5, 5.5, and 6 mm), or size to obtain gauge

GAUGE
In Peacock stitch
Using size US G-6 (4 mm) hook, 20 sts = 5”/12.7 cm and 2 rows = 2 1/2”/6.4 cm
Using size US H/8 (5 mm) hook, 30 sts = 8”/20 cm and 2 rows = 3”/7.6 cm
Using size US I-9 (5.5 mm) hook, 20 sts = 5 1/2”/14 cm and 2 rows = 5”/12.7 cm

NOTES
Skirt is worked from the waist down; waist is worked in rows, remainder of skirt is worked in-the-round.
Shaping is accomplished by changing hook size for each section (see Schematic).
Waist is adjusted by means of a drawstring.
