How’s that? A yarn crawl? Yep - even if you can’t travel, or shops aren’t able to open yet, we’re on: the Slow Crawl is virtual again this year, too! That actually means you can join in from anywhere!
Get a passport from this shop or other participating shops (they’re $10)
Starting May 26th, visit all the shops - online, or safely in person
Each participating shop will give you the download codes for their pattern and a sticker or stamp for your passport (purchase required for virtual “visits”)
Fill up your passport, and be eligible for prizes!

It is amazing that simple slipped stitches using 2 contrasting colors can create totally different designs on each side of the work! You only work one color at a time, eliminating the need to carry yarns.

Both pieces (cowl and hat) are worked in the round so finishing is simply burying your ends…hooray!!

Difficulty Level:

Size: Cowl: 7.5” wide by 21” in circumference
Hat: 18” circumference, will stretch to fit 22” head comfortably

Yarn:1 skein each of light and dark Malabrigo Rios, model in Aquamarine (light) and Blue Jean (dark) 213 yds per ball, 100% machine washable merino wool

Needle: .US 8 16” circular

Gauge: 18 sts = 4” in stockinette stitch

25 sts = 4” in pattern stitch
