This is a 60in (1500cm) scarf in garter stitch. It is made mostly from a scrap ball (or scrap skein) consisting of leftover glitter yarns which are cut and made into a single length with Russian joins. It has a crocheted trim which can be made from the same scrap ball, or from normal yarn. The scarf length is adjustable. The fabric has a glittery, shabby-chic and folksy appearance which is part of the character of this piece.
This scarf was designed for women, but it could be a man’s scarf if you omitted the edging and did not use glitter yarn.
