Orange Blossom Camisole
About the design…
I grew up in perpetual summer in Miami, and tried to put my memories of orange trees and white blossoms to good use. I started with the blossom design thinking that it would be lovely to have a simple sleeveless top with just a sweet motif running down the center. The camisole features a slipped stitch seam on the sides which is echoed in the straps. It is worked in the round and flows from the beaded ribbing to the waist shaping with a rounded neckline made by using short rows. One of my favorite elements of this piece is the herringbone bind-of which makes finishing the top as easy as weaving in the ends.
It’s a beautiful top, elegantly designed and clearly written. A must have for your warm weather wardrobe.
ERRATA: Faux side seam should read “wyb” not “wybwyb.”
