Orchid
The body of this cardigan is knit seamlessly from bottom up. Side increases create a relaxed, drapey fit. Dropped shoulders are knit by short rows and fronts and back are united by three needle bind off. Later the stitches for the sleeves are picked up from the brioche edge of the armholes. The sleeves are knit in a slightly tighter gauge than the body with less positive ease. The buttonband is picked up from the brioche border and knit on a yet thinner needle to create a compact structure.
