The Oriental Jacket, designed in 1998, is a Koigu classic - a loose-fitting jacket composed of squares in three different sizes with random color distribution. The squares are knit to each other horizontally and vertically, using two solid and six variegated colors.

Small-Medium (48” chest, 33” long, 3/4 length sleeves)
Large (58-60” chest, 33” long, 3/4 length sleeves)

Requires 25 skeins of Koigu yarn.
1 skein solid for edging
3 skeins of dark solid colour, 4 skeins of light solid colour
3 skeins each of 6 different variegates.
It is very simple to adjust to any other size by knitting fewer or more squares.
