Orwell
Perfect for the cold seasons and inspired by the classic pashmina shawls, Orwell is a warm and snuggly rectangular wrap with two size options, a larger stole and a smaller scarf.
The wrap is worked in two halves starting at both ends with the deep borders of textured lace. The textured stitches merge into easy garter stitch, which is worked all the way to the center of the shawl and then seamlessly grafted.
The stole is worked in five colors of the beautiful Harrisville yarn while the scarf requires three colors. The colors slowly change from the lightest shade at one end to the darkest on the other end. The garter stitch provides a seamless blending of the colors by alternating the skeins on the wrong side during color transitions.
