This is an advanced beginner level pattern, some crochet knowledge is required. Not recommended for complete beginners, but the pattern does include detailed step by step instructions and pictures to help you.

Using the materials suggested this octopus measures 24cm (9.5in) tall and 45cm (17.75in) wide. Any yarn can be used with this pattern with an appropriate size crochet hook to create a tight tension, although other yarns may affect the size of the finished toy. Suggested materials: Chunky (Bulky 5) 100% polyester chenille yarn, 5mm crochet hook, 20mm safety eyes and toy stuffing.
