Osceola Peak is located in the Pasayten Wilderness, 13 miles from the nearest road. In the fall of ‘16 we spent a week camped in the valley below, climbing peaks during the day, including Osceola Peak and warming up around a campfire in the evening, while a gentle early winter snow fell around us.

Osceola Hat is a reversible cable hat, knit up in worsted weight yarn to keep your head warm and protected during cold winters.
The cables look intimidating but are fairly simple and repetitive. There are 9 rounds of ribbing and seed stitch, followed by a cable round.

Size:
Hat has approximately 4” (10cm) negative ease; finished hat will fit 16” (20”/24”) or (40/51/60cm) head circumference.

Yarn notes:
A med size hat will take about 200-220 yards of worsted weight yarn.

Options are given to make a slouchier hat or looser fitting hat.
