My Oscillate Shawl is a knit boomerang shawl design inspired by the undulating sea of colorful tree foliage that is the Blue Ridge Mountains amidst peak fall, the urge to “gift knit,” and the satisfaction of seeing a colorway shine in multiple textures. I aimed to infuse all of the seasonal sensory inspiration that surrounds us into this design in tandem with the opportunity to let a colorway shine in both garter and stockinette. I envision this shawl being worn either front and center in a bandanna style, wrapped all close and cozy around the neck in the cooler evenings, gracefully flung over one shoulder, or even warming your crown as a headwrap.
